With more than three decades of rich experience in food and hospitality industry across the globe, Chef Chawla brings a fresh and novel culinary flair to his kitchen inspired by his classic training and world travel.

Chef Chawla’s international experience has allowed him to develop an ardent passion for gastronomy. A hotel management graduate, he began his culinary career with the Taj Group. Prior to taking up the role of an executive chef at Eastin Hotel Kurseong, Darjeeling, he was associated with global brands like Starwoods, Swissotel and Accor. His achievements have urbanised his flair for Indian, Italian, Continental & Thai cuisine.

In his current role Chef Chawla will showcase newer food concepts with the use of original ingredients and spices from the mountains of Kurseong.
